Pitchfork Labels Anna Meredith's "Taken" as a "Best New Track"

So glad to see Anna Meredith's "Taken" hailed as a "Best New Track" by Pitchfork. The song comes off of her new record, Varmints, which was just released on March 4th. Pitchfork took time to praise the unique and impressive instrumentation that went into the making of "Taken," from "the chirping synth figure that introduces the song" to the "simple, catchy chant [of] 'yeah, yeah,'" to "the bass line [that] does a wild little prog-jazz dance."
