 Southern California-based singer-songwriter Monica Aben is excited to announce the upcoming release of her debut EP, Everything I've Ever Known, out on July 26, 2024. The EP follows her acclaimed singles "That Kind of Happy" and "Rearrange You" and is a testament to the power of self-discovery and the beauty of embracing one's true essence.  

Monica is delighted to share the EP's inaugural single, "Force Of Nature," along with its captivating accompanying video, which she filmed and edited alongside her mother, Anna Marie Aben.

"Force Of Nature" is now available on all streaming platforms. The track encapsulates Monica's profound connection to nature and her journey of self-discovery. In her own words, Monica describes the song as a meditation, inviting listeners to reconnect with their ancestral ties to the earth and embrace their innate power as forces of nature.

Reflecting on "Force Of Nature," Monica says, "I've spent the last two years reconnecting with my divine feminine and exploring the deep connection between humanity and nature. Through this journey, I've realized that we are all forces of nature, capable of profound transformation and regeneration. The world will continue to turn, and we will meet new versions of ourselves throughout life, but I’ve come to learn, that you only really meet the depths of yourself when you’re in nature."

Hailing from California, Monica Aben's musical odyssey began at a young age, nurtured by a household steeped in rhythm and melody. Drawing inspiration from her upbringing and iconic artists such as Keane and Ben Rector, Monica's music radiates authenticity and passion, earning her a dedicated following at home and abroad.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind "Force Of Nature" and her EP as a whole, Monica shares, "The title Everything I've Ever Known couldn't be more accurate because these songs weave together the story of me rediscovering the woman I was meant to be in this lifetime. Honestly, it felt like specific parts of me, from past lives, were being awakened to help me (and those around me) through all that is to come. It’s pure love. It’s peace. It’s the sound of establishing an entirely new reality where freedom and health aren’t conditional. It’s reconnecting to nature & our ancestors. Trusting our gut regardless of curated narratives, and being ready to jump into the void over conforming and contradicting our souls. I realized deep in my bones, that’s the reality I’ve always known. So here I am preparing to share my sonic magnum opus that just might be the soundtrack for this new earth."
